The Rishon LeZion Foundation works to improve quality of life in the community, among other things by upgrading and finding budgetary resources for renovating sports facilities.
One example of this was the Foundation’s involvement, several times, in extensive renovation of the tennis courts at the Ramat Eliyahu Community Center, in cooperation with Toto (Israel Sports Betting Board) and the Israeli Association of Community Centers.
The renovation cost over NIS 300,000 a number of times, and the Foundation raised a third of the amount from donors and residents.
We are interested in expanding cooperative ventures in this sphere wherever an investment is required, in cooperation with donors, the local authority and additional bodies, such as Toto and Mifal Hapayis (Israel National Lottery).
