The National Excellence House: The Dream and the Vision
Entrepreneurship and Innovation

A source of inspiration for all of Israel’s residents – to improve personal, organizational and national excellence.
Abraham Huli began having inklings of the dream of the National Excellence House in February 1980, when he assumed his position as head of the IDF Communication Corps’ Quality Department (Testing and Inspection). Later, when the word “excellence” began to take root in the United States and Europe as a “stronger” word than “quality, Huli’s dream became more crystallized.
“Excellence is the extent of the desire, striving for excellence is the extent of the investment, and the sky’s the limit.”
The City of Rishon LeZion and the Rishon LeZion Foundation – in cooperation with some of Israel’s leading business and economic figures – are currently promoting the idea of establishing a National Excellence House. This is an innovative, multidisciplinary project that seeks to be unique and groundbreaking.
In addition to serving as a physical home for actualizing Professor Huli’s ideas, the Foundation sees the house as being a place of learning, including revolving exhibitions that deal with excellence.
