The family album was created in the wake of a deep investigation that was based on documents in the Rishon LeZion Museum’s archive.
The Rishon LeZion Foundation was involved in raising contributions from Rishon LeZion’s veteran families, as well as from local businesses, in order to establish this unique project.
The family album incorporates, through family ties, pictures, stories and various documents, the history of the Rishon LeZion moshava (village), from the day of its establishment up to and including recent years.
Among other things, the museum commemorates heritage stories, customs from the 19th century, historical pictures and family trees of the community’s founding families and leaders.
