Why sewing? It is a skill that can be learned quickly, with steady demand – from clothing and uniform alterations to home textiles and costumes. The program also builds a supportive women’s network, promoting entrepreneurship, life skills, and new opportunities for learning and employment.
Target Group: 15 Ethiopian women, ages 30–60, with no high school education
