Community Food Truck
Project No. 66- Establishing the first community Food Truck at Ramat Eliyahu Community Center. people with disabilities will operate it.
Hofix is an employment project for teenagers on summer vacation at the Rishon LeZion beach. There, the participating boys and girls rent out beach umbrellas and chairs to people coming out for the day, for a token fee of NIS 3. This unique project provides the youth with work and experience in entrepreneurship.
The project is a joint venture of two Rishon LeZion municipal divisions: the Social Inclusion Administration’s Youth and Young Adult Services and Advancement Division, and the Beaches and Lakes Division.
In order to expand the project, we are seeking funding for equipment: beach umbrellas branded with the project’s and municipality’s logos, bottles of drinks, sandwiches, shirts, hats and pouches for the teens. In addition, funding is needed to hire the youth participating in the project.
The plan is to expand the project for two months during the summer vacation – July and August – both at the Rishon LeZion beach and at the lake in the Yes Planet complex, an additional venue where we hope to run the project.
