A decision was made in Rishon LeZion to include the Poland trip in the HILA rehabilitative program.
The journey to Poland will be a six-night trip for teens participating in the HILA program in Rishon LeZion. The program was planned in coordination with the Poland Administration, which supervises all of the Education Ministry’s Poland trips. The journey is intended for 11th and 12th grade students, and it is being offered only to serious students who are on track to complete 12 years of schooling with a matriculation certificate.
The Rishon LeZion Municipality and the Education Ministry have undertaken to finance the entire HILA program, aside from the six-day Poland journey.
To pay their part of the travel expenses, the 10 teen participants in the program have sought employment at the municipality in order to earn NIS 1,000 each. The Foundation has mobilized to help these youth participate in the journey to Poland, and has covered the remainder of the trip’s cost.
