A New York-based welfare foundation, the Rishon LeZion Foundation and the Social Inclusion Administration – Senior Citizens, are cooperating in the establishment of the Hadar Center for the Third Age in the city.
The center’s purpose is to provide treatment for senior citizens who are mentally and physically frail, and who require rehabilitation and close support. It will assist 150 seniors, who will receive social services, various rehabilitative and other activities.
As at other similar centers, an evaluation will be performed of the clients’ needs, and close, personal service will be provided by treatment professionals and social workers from the community.
We would be pleased to have you join the center’s work as volunteers, in cooperative ventures, and through donations for enhancing the center’s activity.
