Community Food Truck
Project No. 66- Establishing the first community Food Truck at Ramat Eliyahu Community Center. people with disabilities will operate it.
This project, a rehabilitative dog kennel, is the first of its kind in Israel. It is a terrific venture for an educational community and warm home for about 400 young people, ages 14-20. The rehabilitative kennel will be built for youngsters living in a youth village, and they are full partners in its establishment.
Give Me a Hand is a unique, groundbreaking project for youth with learning potential who did not receive a suitable opportunity in their former living environment. The kennel receives injured and abandoned dogs before they are put to sleep, and the students in the youth village, supported by the professional staff, care for and rehabilitate them. In the process of rescuing the dogs, the students undergo an emotional journey that empowers and strengthens them, experience unconditional love and reap tremendous satisfaction.
This is a very special dog kennel indeed.
