Community Food Truck
Project No. 66- Establishing the first community Food Truck at Ramat Eliyahu Community Center. people with disabilities will operate it.
Beit Meital, in the Abramovich neighborhood, is a nursing care – treatment day center for 68 people ages 21 and older who have severe cognitive disabilities and need complex treatment and nursing care support levels.
The Rishon LeZion Foundation, with the help of a philanthropic foundation that supports rehabilitative institutions, has raised a donation that will serve to establish a therapeutic garden in Beit Meital’s courtyard.
In the garden, the rehabilitative and treatment facilities that are chosen in the individual treatment program of each participant are used to help him/here in the movement and sports activity field (balance, strengthening the shoulder strap, etc.), as well as in cooperation and participation in the environment. The facilities and equipment pose a challenge, and will spur the participants to engage in activity in the courtyard.
In general, the participants have a great need for sports activity that will, as much as possible, promote a healthier lifestyle.
The Rishon LeZion Foundation has worked to expand support for Beit Meital and purchase additional equipment and aids. Your donation can make a big impact on this program.
